Dr. Ngozi Franca Okoye - Executive Director
Dr Ngozi Franca Okoye studied Biochemistry before working in Agip Oil Company (Saipem) as a Quality Control Analyst. She then took an M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry. After that she studied for a postgraduate course in Information Technology at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She worked at Glaxo Smithkline, Runcorn England as Data Migration Scientist before she moved to British Telecom (BT) London United Kingdom, where she worked for many years in the managerial and professional level, first as a Systems Integration Engineer, and then as a Project Manager. She later got a PhD in Medical Biochemistry. She is a member of British Biochemical Society, a member of European Biochemical Society. She is also a member of the Organisation for women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) Italy. Dr Ngozi Franca Okoye afterwards became a Life Coach and is Managing Editor of Good Life Magazines, a motivational magazine. She has anchored many motivational talks, and has mentored a lot of people. She is the author of Unique Me, Unique You, A Guide To Build Your Self Esteem and Improve Your Self Confidence in One Week, and many other books. She is a University Lecturer. As a researcher, she has over thirty scientific publications to her credit. She is the founder of drfranca.com. She is a web television host. She is the owner of Dr Franca TV, The Dr Franca Show and Dr Franca magazine. She is also the founder of Dr Franca Academy Program (DFAP). The online academy trains people both male and female in life surviving skills including leadership and managerial skills. Dr Franca Foundation is called Young Women In Science Education and Technology (YWISET). A foundation that supports young girls and women who want a career in the STEM subjects get career guidance and mentorship. Her foundation amongst other things regularly organises presentations for schools and other interests. She is happily married with five fabulous children.
